This spring and summer, it is all about the metallic effect. I admit, I was new to trying the sheen fabric, but this skirt was too cute to pass up at only $65. The pink, metallic skirt by Topshop also comes in silver and I recommend sizing up. In order to downplay the metallics, I paired the skirt with this cozy, pink sweater by Topshop. I love the open back of the sweater and I liked mixing the different shapes and textures of pink.
To add more pink to this ensemble, I chose these light pink, pompom earrings by Baublebar. They are super cute and also come in a darker pink that I will link below.
There are many other ways to get in on this metallic effect and these jeans by Hudson are awesome. They’re perfect for a night on the town and would be so cool paired with a textured heel. For a more casual take on the trend, these slip-ons from Vans are great for the everyday.
In conclusion, I would say there’s a metallic piece out there for everyone, whether you’re looking to dress up or down. Though of all the metallics I’ve seen thus far, my pink moto-skirt is my favorite. So ladies, have some fun and try the metallic effect this weekend!
