Fall is officially here! I think we can all agree it is the best season of the year and not just because of pumpkin spice latte’s – it’s time for fall fashion! A favorite go-to outfit of mine are sweaters and mini-skirts and I’m sharing how I styled them with ruffles and animal prints.
Sweater | Skirt | Bag | Booties
Thank goodness it’s started to cool down here in LA because I can finally put away the crop tops and indulge in my pumpkin favorites! Of course, pumpkin spice lattes are a fan favorite but I love the pumpkin bagel and cream cheese from Einstein Brother’s. Sprinkles cupcakes is featuring a pumpkin spice cupcake through the end of October and I’m dying to try it. If you have, please let me know how it is!
Skirts and Sweater Weather
Speaking of all things fall, my photographer and I were shooting in Downtown LA on Friday and I love the pop of orange this door added to my ensemble. My cream sweater from Nordstrom is only $69 and the ruffle detailing is everything. Pair it with a pencil skirt for the office or spice it up with an animal print skirt. My leopard print skirt is $65 and features a great exposed zipper down the front. Both sweater and skirt fit true to size. I’m wearing an extra small for reference.
My Kate Spade bag is arguably my favorite thing about this look. I love the maroon coloring with the mix of suede and leather. It is a little more expensive at $348 but a great investment for the season.
Bootie Bootie Bootie Rockin’ Everywhere
My Steve Madden booties are priced at just under $100 and come in eight different colors. Black is always safe because it goes with everything but the blush color is amazing.
