My Beauty Secrets To Get Your Summer Glow

It’s time to get your summer glow on ladies! I’m going to share my best beauty secrets for a flawless, no-filter look that’ll last all season long.

I apologize for the SUPER close-up of my face but I wanted you all to get an unfiltered view of the magic these products can do for your skin! (Yes, I took advantage of natural lighting too!)

My first secret: shaving your face. Yes, you heard that correctly. I use this gentle Schick razor to shave the fuzz off my face. It makes your foundation go on much smoother and it stays in place longer!

I swear by my Rodan + Fields lash boost serum. I apply it daily on my eyelids after I use eye cream. I’ve heard so many horror stories from my friends being allergic to the glue they use with eyelash extensions once they try this serum they never look back! These products go in junction with one another. After I’ve finished applying concealer, bronzer/contour and blush I apply a setting powder to my forehead and nose. It gets rid of extra shine so you don’t have to do touch-ups every few hours. I love the setting powder from Laura Mercier.

***Tip: use the bulb side of your beauty blender to apply the powder

Once the powder is applied, I spray a couple spritz’s about ten inches from my face to completely set the look. I love the setting spray from Pretty Vulgar because the bottle is so cute!

I’ve tried countless highlighters and the champagne pop highlighter from Becca is by far my favorite.

***Tip: Apply your highlighter after the setting spray to keep from getting a “caked-on” look. I also apply a little highlighter to my collarbones if I’m wearing an off-the-shoulder top.

I literally never leave the house without lipliner and lipstick. Even if I’m working from home all day I will put them on just to feel fresh and pretty. Charlotte Tilbury makes the best quality lipliner and lipsticks. It is worth the investment! My favorite lipliners are Pillow Talk and Super Size Me. For my lighter skin-tone, my favorite lipstick is Bitch Perfect (and the name is just too good to resist). The combo I’m wearing below is Super Size Me lipliner and Liv it Up lipstick.
